Dearden admitted every player has his price, but unless a "ridiculous offer" comes in for the striker, the Magpies boss will not be entertaining any bids.
He said:
"I want to bring better players to the club, not see them leave." Allsopp, the subject of a bid from Rotherham before the March transfer deadline, finished the season with 29 goals.
Allsopp has already been linked with several clubs during the summer break, but it seems that Dearden is keen to keep him at Meadow Lane, and who wouldn't be?
