With the club's current deal with Italian giants Errea ending this summer, the club have wasted little time whatsoever in finding a replacement, as they today announced a deal with one of the markets leading suppliers of professional sports equipment, Precision Training.

The deal – which will run till the end of the 2007/08 season – will look to build on the success spawned by Errea's two-year association with the club that has seen club merchandise at its best within much of the last decade.

The two-year contract will see the firm – owned by Nottingham-based firm, Reydon Sports – produce the most popular home strip in the club's recent history, with blueprints set to be drawn up with consultation from club, Trust and Supporters Club representatives.

We are delighted that one of football's hottest new brands is partnering the world's oldest League club,” said Reydon Sports MD Nigel Carter, speaking to the Nottingham Evening Post today.

Precision Training has experienced massive growth in the past two years and the opportunity to work alongside and partner an established Football League club is a tremendous opportunity.”

With that in mind, the club have also announced that the new home strip for the forthcoming 2006/07 season will be unveiled on Saturday, 6th May, the final day of the current campaign.

The new home shirt we are designing fully appreciates the heritage of Notts County and we are sure supporters will like it,” added Carter.

Meanwhile, back to the club's playing affairs, a Notts County second-string were felled 3-1 at Coventry today, with first-teamers Noé Sissoko and Emmet Friars involved.
