Not Good Enough!

Fenton, who has been outstanding for Billy Dearden's side this season, believes the squad has under achieved this season and should have been pushing for a playoff place.

Following a good start to the season that saw Notts unbeaten in 6 and only leaking 3 goals in the process, things looked rosy, but a few defeats soon pushed Notts down the table, where they have stayed for most of the season until performaces of late have dragged Notts clear of relegation zone.

"I don't think we can claim to have achieved a great deal. We should have done a lot better in my book," Fenton told the Evening Post.

"People say we should be pleased to have the chance to finish in the top half of the table but I'm afraid I just don't agree.

"We have to be disappointed with the way things have gone for us.

"With the players we have here we should have achieved a lot more than we have.

"We should be aiming to win all our remaining matches, to prove what we are capable of."
