No fresh injury worries

Creative: Nowland may be able to create more openings.
Ian McParland will be relieved that he has no fresh injury worries ahead of the trip to Bournemouth.

Only Russell Hoult (shoulder) remains sidelined with his shoulder injury while Adam Nowland is expected to shake off a knock picked up last weekend to rejoin the squad.

It is possible that visionary midfielder may play a major role in tomorrow's game as Notts' boss McParland looks for his side to be more creative.

Following the Gillingham game he said: "I've seen a lot of hardworking performances from players this season but they had to respond to the criticism I gave them from their first half performance against Accrington on Saturday - and they did."

"Gillingham could go up automatically but we matched them across the park. We battled and scrapped and had one chance cleared off the line and another shot ricocheted off a defender and wide.

"Results aren't going right at the moment but let's try and get back to creating the chances and working hard.

"If we can produce that kind of effort we'll win more games than we lose for the rest of this season."

Although the team showed much more character in the midweek loss to the Gills there could still be changes to the starting line-up.

After being rested on Tuesday, Michael Johnson could return to the heart of defence at the expense of Stephen Hunt.
