New Record Attendance Low

Worst attendence in the club's history
Just 1,020 watched the match at Meadow Lane last night, as Notts were dumped out of the LDV Vans Trophy at the first hurdle as the Latics ran out 3-2 winners.

This will be an unwanted record for Notts, the lowest attendance at a competitive game, something they won't be bragging about thats for sure!

The previous record for a all time low was last season, when just 1,047 came to watch Notts take on Oldham Athletic and once again it was in the LDV Vans Trophy.

The LDV Trophy is a big chance for lower Division clubs to win some silverwhare, but many clubs see the competition as a chance to give fringe players a game, hence poor attendances.

QPR managed the highest attendance in the LDV last night 4,722 turning up to watch their match against Bristol City. Some clubs did not even pass the 1,000 mark, with just 953 turning up to watch Leyton Orient's 5 goal thriller with Peterborough United.
