Moore takes over the reins from outgoing Supporters Trust representative Steve Thompson, who announced his decision to step-down from the post two months ago.

The Nottingham-born businessman - who is currently chief executive of the East Midlands' Development Agency - was head-hunted by the club and brings a wealth of business experience to the post.

"I am personally thrilled that we have been able to secure someone as skilled, talented and experienced as Jeff Moore," said Thompson.

"It brings further stability to the club. This is positive news and the Board will be significantly strengthened."

Moore will start immediately. He joins a burgeoning group of directors that now includes Howard Wilkinson, John Taylor and Michael Hammond.
