Murray was one of the stars of Saturday's 1-0 win at Oldham, a performance that earned Murray rave reviews from Notts' supporters, who now hope the midfielder will sign on a permanent basis.

Two more clubs have joined the race for Murray's signature, including Northampton Town, taking the number of clubs wanting to sign the former Derby man up to 16.

Though his agent Gino Culbertson says Notts have as gooder chance as any of signing him.

"There have been another two clubs coming in with offers for Adam in the last 24 hours," Culbertson told the Evening Post. "one of which is Northampton Town.

"But there has been no decision made as yet.

"He has agreed to play for Notts again in the FA Cup at Gravesend.

"But that will still be on a non-contract basis, he will only be paid expenses."

However, Culbertson said that money will not be a factor in Murray's decision.

"It is still a football decision, that will be the main factor,"
he said "He wants to be somewhere where he is happy.

"We will sit down with Adam this week and discuss where his future lies."

NCM Opinion

A no brainer really, like all Notts fans, we hope Murray signs.

It'll be good for the fans that weren't able to go to Oldham to see him in a Notts shirt, because he really does look like a star in the making.

For that reason, I think he'll probably sign for a Division One club, but it's good to have a glimmer of hope that we might actually sign a top quality midfielder at last.
