Mildenhall suffered a disappointing first season at Meadow Lane following his £150,000 move from Swindon Town, and was replaced by Stuart Garden midway through the season.

Last season however, the giant young keeper had to bide his time onto the bench until November when he was recalled at the expense of Garden and made the position his own with some excellent performances, especially at Cardiff and in the home win over QPR spring to mind.

He received 41.2% of the votes on the poll.

In second place was the impressive Irishman Paul Heffernan, who held onto a regular first team place and showed an all round improvement to his game, he got 28.2%.

Third place went to the hardworking Paul Bolland with 14.1% of the votes, Ian Baraclough was in fourth place with 7.1%, fifth was Nicky Fenton with 5.9% and finally top scorer Mark Stallard came in sixth place with 3.5% of the votes.
