Notts midfielder, Richard Liburd, could face another long spell on the sidelines, it was revealed today.

Richard Liburd - Injured
The 29-year-old had to be substituted towards the end of the match at Home Park yesterday afternoon.

It is now thought that Liburd could have sustained major ligament damage to his knee.

Dearden said "It could be serious. It looks like he has the same injury which kept him out for 6 months before I came to the club"

However, Dearden is keeping his hopes up that it will not be as serious as the previous one.

"We hope he might have just jarred it. We’ll see how it is on Monday but it looks quite serious right now"

He will join the likes of Fenton, Allsopp, Heffernan and Jupp in the treatment room.

Richard Liburd, scorer of the early goal against QPR, was playing well before he had to be taken off but he now becomes an additional name to the list of injuries the Magpies will have to contend with.
