Mills Won't Get Carried Away

Mills was full of praise for the lads and delighted for everyone at and connected with Notts County, including the fans.
But, wisely, he insists that despite being sixth from bottom, the hard work has to continue to stay out of the bottom four for good.

He singled out Steve Scoffham’s performance, including scoring his impressive debut league goal and told the Club’s Official Website; “I am delighted for Steve. He is a great player and a cracking lad, and the goal was nothing more than he deserved.”

Barras: Superb Tonight
Mills was also impressed with performances of both Nick Fenton and Tony Barras tonight. He believes both players are improving game by game and went on to say; “Nick and Tony were superb. Nick has got better and better, and Tony Barras alongside him was superb. I have said previously that I nearly got rid of Tony when I first came in, but he had a kick up the backside and he come in with some excellent performances.”

Let’s hope that the impressive run of form can continue into Saturday’s clash with top of the table Plymouth Argyle. I know I’d happily settle for a point but see no reason why we cannot get all 3 points from the forthcoming game.
