Mills vilifies ‘diabolical' performance

After seeing his side fail to win in their last TEN home fixtures, the under-pressure Magpies boss turned straight on his team in somewhat double-standardised fashion to slam his Magpies line-up described by Mills as ‘not man enough’, and by the fans as ‘not fit to wear the shirts’. In either case, an tremendously potent message.

Diabolical? Agreed.
The Magpies struck first blood through the dependable figure of Julian Baudet, but found themselves dominated outright for the remainder of the affair before Lee Steele grabbed an equaliser for the O’s just thirteen minutes later.

Orient then completed the turn-round with Gary Alexander with the winner twenty minutes from time, showing great bouncebackability from start to finish.

In his post match comments, Mills had the following to say: "There's no other word for it. We were very poor and lost to a team that passed the ball around us,"

"It's a massive blow. We had an excellent win at Rochdale and needed to come back and build on that, but we were not man enough to do it."

"We're not getting results. We've lost another home game and that's simply not acceptable," Mills added.
