Mills Rubbishes Johnson Rumours

Mills, who has been a very busy man since taking over at Meadow Lane, seemed in no doubt that Johnson was NOT coming home.

He said: "There's no point going for players we can't afford.

"We would love to get people like Tommy Johnson, but we would not be able to pay the kind of money he is on."

Well that's that then!

Mills however, has got two players on trial at Meadow Lane, as well as two loanees from Coventry.

One of the trialists, Frazer McHugh, featured in today's reserve game at York, which ended goalless.

While the other trialist, Moroccan under-21 international Yazid Kaissi, was expected to arrive at Meadow Lne tonight, from French side Lens.
