Mills: Big Crowd Please

Last updated : 05 March 2004 By Joanna Walker
As the club is climbing away from the bottom of the table, Mills has urged all Notts fans to get down Meadow Lane tomorrow and lend their vocal support to the team’s cause,

It is widely expected that Plymouth will be bringing a large crowd with them and therefore it is expected to be a large gate of around 8,000 tomorrow but Mills wants more Notts fans to turn up and watch the fantastic football on display as shown in the past two home games.
A Large Argyle Following Is Expected Tomorrow

Mills has said he wants Notts supporters to continue the "fantastic", noisy backing (mostly from Jimmy Sirrel Stand!) that they have given the team through the last couple of home games, especially on Tuesday night’s win against Grimsby.

Mills is confident of the club shaking off the ‘malaise’ label the club has got over the past few years and regain a positive outlook on the future happenings at t’Lane.

“I hope the fans got up on Wednesday morning with a spring in their step.” Mills told the Nottingham Evening Post.

He now wants to see a repeat of that tomorrow and has appealed for Notts fans, young and old to turn out in force and support the Magpies.

“I want to thank the fans for their support in the past few games, because they have been fantastic. Tomorrow's crowd could be over 8,000, with quite a few expected from Plymouth, so we need our fans to be at their best again.”

“I think the fans appreciate passion, they like seeing that people genuinely care about the club and I think we have shown that in recent times.”

Come on then everyone, get out the armchair and get down Meadow Lane and support the gaffer and the lads and let’s hope it is another win……….Four consecutive wins, nah too good to be true, surely?!
