Out of action for 2 months
As revealed on the official site earlier this evening, it is confirmed that Steve Mildenhall could be out of action for up to two months after sustaining a fractured cheekbone in today’s 1-1 draw with
Barnsley at Meadow Lane.

The 6ft 5” ‘keeper was attempting to deny Barnsley a scoring opportunity on goal when he collided with the post at the Kop End and crashed to floor after appearing to crash into the post, no other players involved. It was one of those freak moments in football.

Mills said: "I have just spoken to the club surgeon and apparently Steve has done his cheekbone and it looks like he is going to have to have an operation. We could be without him for anything between six weeks to a month. It is a cruel blow for him."

We would like to wish Steve Mildenhall a speedy recovery and we hope to see him back in action soon.
