"I was gutted when I did it, because I thought I had torn the whole thing again," Mildenhall told the Evening Post.
"I was really scared that I would have to go through the whole operation and everything again.
"Fortunately, after seeing a specialist, it turns out that I have only suffered a sprain.
"I have been told that it could be two or three weeks before I am back in action, but I am hoping that it could be a bit quicker than that.
"I have been able to do a little bit of work, with the hand heavily strapped. But, obviously I want to get a few matches under my belt as soon as possible." He added.
