Mildy goes under the knife...

The 6”5 shot-stopper sustained the injury during Saturday’s 1-1 draw with promotion-chasing Barnsley and the operation to repair the damage caused is set to keep the big-man out for at least two months.

The 25-year old goalkeeper went into surgery today for a metal plate to be inserted into his cheek to help repair the broken bone.

His prolonged absence leaves manager Gary Mills with just two options in the shape of Scotsman Stuart Garden and Irishman Saul Deeney – who between the pair have had just 106 minutes of first-team football between them, conceding SIX goals in that time.
