The former Swindon keeper had a difficult time last season and following Stuart Gardens brilliant run of form, Mildenhall could only watch from the bench from January last year onwards.

However, following Garden's dip in form Mildenhall came back into the team against Blackpool at the end of November, and has been a regular ever since and has given a number of assured performances, especially against Wigan where he denied Wigan time after time in the first half.

"I'd been out of the first team since February last year, so it was a case of sitting tight and waiting for my chance to along." Said Mildenhall.

"After the Colchester game the boss decided to change it around and bring me back into things."

When asked how he and Stuart Garden got on following The Scot being dropped, the 6ft 5 keeper added;

"There's not alot you can say, because we both have alot of respect for each other, and we both know what we think of each other, but it is a hard situation. Obviously I'm pleased to be back laying but I don't like seeing Stuart getting dropped, but the same happened to me last season and since I've been back in the side Stuart has done nothing but help me build my confidence."
