Mildenhall has made just 1 appearance in the first team this season, that was in the LDV Vans 3-2 defeat to Wigan Athletic in October. Mildenhall last made a league appearance for The Magpies in January when Wycombe thrashed Notts 3-0.

Stuart Garden has been out of sorts in recent weeks, and has come under fire from fans who feel he has been beaten easily in recent games and Billy Dearden may consider recalling the giant goalkeeper.

Mildenhall gave a strong performance for the reserves yesterday, and yet again showing his handling has improved over the past months. Notts currently have the best defensive record in their reserve league, with just 6 goals going past Mildenhall who has been ever present in the reserves.

The former Swindon keeper has been praised by Billy Dearden for his form in the reserves this season, and after of months waiting in the wings he could recall him for the trip to Bloomfield Road.

Dearden now has to make a difficult decision as to who starts between the sticks on Saturday.
