Mildenhall Impresses On Return

Mildenhall had featured in only 1 game for Notts since the 3-0 defeat at Wycombe in January when the former Swindon keeper had a nightmare game and was replaced the game after by Stuart Garden.

Garden's form was one of the main reasons behind Notts staying up last season, but this time around he has struggled for form and boss Billy Dearden felt the time was right to bring Mildenhall back into the team.

The giant keeper has been in good form in the reserves and has conceeded just 5 goals so far in the reserve league this season, the best in the league.

On Saturday at Blackpool he took the performances from the reserves into the first team, saving well on a few occasions and claiming crosses well. He could not be blamed for the goal Notts conceeded, with poor marking allowing Clarke to score for the Seasiders.

Mildenhall will continue in goal at Bristol City tomorrow, and is likely to be in for a busy evening with The Robins on a good run at the moment and hit 5 past Mansfield last week when they looked dead and buried.
