Members to observe silence

Last updated : 31 December 2004 By Richard Brown

The Football League have requested all members have a minutes silence at fixtures over the weekend in rememberance of those who lost their lives in the terrible disasters that have unfolded since Boxing Day morning.

Thus the club have agreed to observe a minutes silence before their games away to Cheltenham, tomorrow, and at home to Rochdale, Monday, as a mark of respect.

Each of the 92 Football League teams (including Premiership) are to observe the silence in the forthcoming weekend matches.

The club has also been quick to spur plans for fund raising efforts at the ground, so please, please give generously.
