The all-action midfielder has been training with the rest of the squad since their return to pre-season training over a week ago, but was only officialy unveiled by the club today.

McMahon had been a regular for Wednesday in the last campaign until an ankle injury meant he was only able to make two substitute appearences after November. He comes highly-recommended by Owls' fans.

He becomes Gudjon Thordarson's third permanent signing as Notts County manager, after the captures of goalkeeper Kevin Pilkington and defender Brian O'Callaghan.

McMahon's signing is the FOURTH time this summer that NCM have been first with the news, beating our professional counterparts. It follows our exclusives on Stefan Oakes' switch to Wycombe, Paul Bolland's move to Grimsby and Pilkington's transfer to Meadow Lane.
