Steven Mildenhall- 7, Couldn't be faulted on the goal & made a fantastic save at the end. Kicking was poor at times.
Steve Jenkins- 5, Looked solid in the friendlies, but for me, has not impressed yet in the season.
Nicky Fenton- 7, Was our best defender AGAIN. Tackled well, looked assured on the ball and generally had a decent game.
Tony Barras- 7, Was solid. Tackled well and along with Fenton kept a dangerous strike duo quiet. Down the wings however was a different story.
Kevin Nicholson- 4, Poor again. Was ran riot in the second half by Carlos Edwards. Struggled badly.
Simon Baldry- 7, Was a 9 in the first half but faded badly in the second half.
Has a good cross and decent skill, looks an excellent signing.
Paul Bolland- 8, Star man. Really was excellent & with a creative player alongside him, our midfield will be much better. Gave 100% at all times.
Ian Richardson- 5, Is not a midfielder, simple as that. Missed 2 first half chances and looks lost when the balls at his feet & he's in the opposition half.
Ian Baraclough- 7, Nearly pinched an equaliser with an outstanding shot at the end, might be better in centre mid.
Mark Stallard- 6, If he touched the ball the ref gave a foul. Had very little good service & was understandably frustrated.
Paul Heffernan- 6, Like Stallard had little service. Had a volley that forced the 'keeper into a good save. May lose his place when Platt returns.

Darren Caskey(On 67 for Richardson) - 7, Like him or not Notts looked a better side with him on the field.
Tony Hackworth(On 83 for Nicholson)- 6, Showed some neat touches, but had very little chance to impress.
