Stuart Garden- 3, Sorry Stu but you'll be the first to admit this wasn't one of your better days. Looked unsure on crosses, which cost us 3 goals.

Steve Jenkins- 5, Not to the same standard as he was in the friendlies. Hit a cracking shot which hit the bar, but apart from that had an off day.
Nick Fenton- 5, Was given the run around & didn't look his assured self.
Won't have many harder games this season.
Tony Barras- 5, Same as Fenton, found it tough. Looks solid in the air, but may struggle against good pace.
Kevin Nicholson- 4, Had an awful game defensively & had an absoloutaly torrid time against Wilkshire.

Paul Bolland- 5, Grafted well but is no winger. Was at fault along with Garden for the second goal and it should go down as an og against him.
Michael Brough- 7, Did alright. Tackled strongly as ever & work rate was top notch in such heat.
Ian Richardson- 6, Hit a couple of shots close but never was really a threat. It won't work playing 4 defensive midfielders together.
Ian Baraclough- 5, Barely noticed him. Tracked back well but needs to stick on that left side, it might be better if him and Nicholson swap over.

Mark Stallard- 5, Even he had an off day. Hit a couple of long range shots but nothing to really threaten the 'keeper.
Clive Platt- 8, Was Notts best player. Would of been even better if Notts had let him play instead of pelting balls up at him all the time. Showed very good signs though.

Subs

Willis Francis (on for Bolland 64)- 6, Should've started, showed some good touches.
Paul Heffernan (on for Stallard 77)- 6, Again, should of been put on much earlier.
Tony Hackworth (on for Platt 77)- 6, Had little chance to impress.
