Notts County manager Martin Allen has been sacked following the club's disappointing 3-0 defeat to Hartlepool United. Allen had been in charge for ten months, briefly leading the club into the League One play-off places, although recent form had been extremely disappointing.
NCM understands that the sacking is not related to Allen's results at the club, however. It is also believed that a replacement for the former Barnet and MK Dons manager may already be in the pipeline.
