If the deal is completed in time for tomorrows game with Mansfield, Notts will have 2 new faces in the squad and will give the supporters a massive boost following Duncan Jupp's arrival yesterday from Wimbledon.

Notts could be without as many as 7 defenders for the game tomorrow, with a number of those battling to be fit.

Danny Stone, Simon Ramsden, Ian Baracloguh, Richard Holmes and Craig Ireland are struggling with injury while Ian Richardson and Nicky Fenton are suspended.

Boss Billy Dearden told the Nottingham Evening Post:
"We still have to get the green light from the PFA and the Football League, but we will not be adding much to our wage bill, so we are keeping our fingers crossed that it won't be a problem."

The signing is set to be sealed later this afternoon, stayed tuned to NCM for the latest.
