Magpies set to sign Akinbiyi

It seems fairly certain that former Leicester City and Burnley striker Ade Akinbiyi will sign for Notts County next week. BBC Radio Nottingham first broke the story this afternoon and it now looks almost certain that the target man will be a Notts player in the near future. Akinbiyi, who once cost Leicester City £5,500,000, has played for a host of football league clubs in his career, being most prolific at Gillingham and Bristol City. Most recently he's been playing for MLS high flyers Houston Dynamo in America, although was recently released after failing to score for the Dynamo.
