The new strip marks the maiden-voyage, if you will, of the club's recent agreement to join forces with kit manufacturers Precision Training and the club's new shirt sponsors, Nottingham-based Medoc.

The kit, as modelled by Welsh international midfielder David Pipe, sports a much darker look than the club's current strip, opting instead for a more ‘traditional' black-based look, as opposed to the Juventus-esque all-white feel.

Recently-appointed Chief Executive Geoff Davey spoke today of his satisfaction with the project.

We have undertaken a full consultation process with our supporter groups and we all think we are onto a real winner,” he said, speaking to the Notts County Official site at the unveiling.

"The kit reflects the heritage and values of a traditional black and white striped shirt associated with the club over many decades."

The kit, that will go on sale in July, will be paraded before Saturday's relegation-decider against fellow strugglers Bury.
