Notts County manager Steve Cotterill today announced the list of players he has released from the club after the Magpies' season finished on Saturday. The League Two champions have chosen to allow eight of the eleven out of contract players to leave the club, with the other three being offered new deals.
Cotterill has made the difficult decision to let goalkeepers Kevin Pilkington and Russell Hoult leave the club alongside Matt Hamshaw, Delroy Facey, Sean Canham, Ben Fairclough, Ade Akinbiyi and Jamie Clapham. NCM would like to thank all eight for their service to the football club and playing their part in an incredible season at Meadow Lane.
New deals have been offered to Mike Edwards, Stephen Hunt and Craig Westcarr and it is hoped they will all still be at Meadow Lane for next season.
