Magpies reject Allsopp bid

Ronnie Moore, the Rotheram Manager made an offer to try and lure County's "goal machine" Danny Allsopp away from meadow Lane. The big was rejected however and Moore was angry not to get the Australian:
"The fans know the type of player we need, and I know the type of player we need, but I'm tearing my hair out trying to get him. "I've had a £200,000 bid turned down for (Lloyd) Owusu from Brentford and a £300,000 bid turned down by Notts County for the lad (Danny) Allsopp."
Allsopp has netted 24 goals this season, seven in his last five outings, and has been linked with a host of clubs this season.
