Finnity Insists The Notts Players Will Be Paid

It was around this time last year that Notts' financial problems began, when they were unable to pay the players wages and the problems have continued on from there.

"The finances are in place to pay the wage bill, that is not a problem," Finnity told the Evening Post.

"To be fair, we have managed to juggle the finances quite well since we went into administration.

"The club is obviously losing money, but still to a level that is within the original budget."

Finnity also confirmed there is yet to be a bid for the two serious interested parties in buying Notts, but he expects a bid in the very near future.
