Magpies drawn with Torquay or Harrogate

County entered the draw following their impressive 2-0 victory against League One strugglers, Bristol City.

Goals from Julien Baudet (pictured) and debutant Adam Tann ensured Notts’ entry to the second round draw, which was made live on BBC shortly after Oldham’s humbling 1-1 draw with Chasetown.

Notts, pulled out so late in the draw, will thus travel to either fellow League Two side Torquay United, or Conference North side Harrogate Town.

Elsewhere in the draw, local rivals Mansfield Town take on the ‘Chelsea of non-league’ Grays Athletic at Field Mill, whilst lowly Nottingham Forest could travel to Chester City if they can produce a giant-killing against Weymouth in their replay.

The match will be played on the weekend of December 3rd, with Notts’ opponents to be decided following Torquay and Harrogate’s replay next week.
