"There will be a list of rules pinned to the wall when the players report back for pre-season training, covering things like that," Dearden said.
"And any player who breaks those rules will be disciplined, they will be hit hard and fined. We just cannot afford to have players missing on a regular basis, when it is totally unnecessary.
"Now is the time to stamp down, because we have clearly had a real problem with discipline this season."
