Livesey extends loan stay

The deal was agreed following the club creditors blocked another loan-signing of a Premiership player during midweek.

The 18-year-old defender made his debut for the Magpies in what could have been the Magpie’s final ever league game against Luton Town in early September. Since then the youngster has made 5 further appearances for County.

The news is a much needed boost as the Salford-born centre half has, for me, impressed greatly in his short time he has spent with the club. With his extension, he now looks set to return to the Reebok Stadium early next month.
