Liburd Back With A Bang

The versatile midfielder had been out for over a month after picking up a knee injury against Mansfield in November, and returned to the Notts starting 11 at the weekend.

And just 7 minutes into his return he fired home a crisp right foot drive to set The Magpies on their way to thier first win in nine games.

With his contract out at the end of the season he will be keen to impress over the next few months, and hopefully return to the inspirational form he showed towards the end of last season.

Signed by Sam Allardyce in 1998, he is one of the longest serving players in the Notts squad, and is also Nottingham born and bred and began his career at non league side Eastwood Town.
