League Two team of the week

Goalkeeper
- Russell Hoult, Notts County. There were two outstanding candidates for this on Saturday with Hoult just edging out Hereford's Wayne Brown thanks to being put under more pressure by Peterborough than the Bulls custodian. Both kept clean sheets, and both put in faultless performances, making crucial saves.

Right back
- Adam Tann, Notts County. NCM's man of the match against the Posh was in commanding form, preventing the tricky George Boyd from getting any space. Tann won almost everything and was quick to put his body on the line.

Centre back
- John McCombe, Hereford United. Vital in the Bulls' clean sheet that was the platform for their vital 1-0 win over Wycombe Wanderers. McCombe defended astutely and produced a goal saving clearance from Scott McGleish's effort, coming out of nowhere to block the shot.

Centre back
- Michael Johnson, Notts County. No it isn't turning into a Notts eleven, again it is thoroughly deserved. The whole back five, including Hoult, were excellent against Peterborough, but Johnson edges out Mike Edwards here. Johnson was pacey, aggressive and assured, keeping Aaron McLean in check all afternoon.

Left back
- Dean Lewington, MK Dons. Arguably the best left back in the division, Lewington put in another faultless performance, going about his business with minimal fuss. Also got forwards well, creating his sides opener in their 4-0 demolition of Dagenham & Redbridge.

Right wing
- Garry Thompson, Morecambe. Thompson was the start turn in the Shrimps' 3-1 win over Brentford. He set up the first and third, as well as scoring the second. His crossing was a delight all afternoon and provided headers for Stuart Drummond and Gary Hunter. The win was vital for a Morecambe side stuttering of late.

Centre midfield
- Jamie Tolley, Macclesfield Town. Hit a stunning effort against his former club Shrewsbury to draw the Silkmen level in a game they couldn't afford to lose. His 20-yard shot sailed past Glyn Garner, and Tolley scrapped for the cause all afternoon.

Left wing
- Aaron Wilbraham, MK Dons. Hit a fine brace for the new league leaders, as they destroyed the Daggers at Stadium:MK. On his return from injury, Wilbraham scored the opener after just three minutes, adding his second and the Dons' third after 37 before creating their fourth for Kevin Gallen.

Striker
- Martin Butler, Grimsby Town. His quick-fire double looked to have put the in-form Mariners in pole position for an excellent three points at promotion hunting Darlington. They lost 3-2, but Butler's efforts weren't unnoticed as he headed the opener on 29 minutes, before rounding the defence to slot a second on 30.

Striker
- Pawel Abbott, Darlington. Matched Butler with a brace of his own that hauled the Quakers back into the game that they finally won 3-2. Abbott brilliantly lobbed Phil Barnes for his first before the crucial second on the stroke of half-time.

Striker
- Michael Boulding, Mansfield Town. The Stags' scoring sensation notched his 21st of an excellent personal campaign as Town picked up a surprise three points at Bradford. Boulding has kept the Stags in contention to stay up all year and he created Nathan Arnold's opener before firing the winner just after the break.
