Goalkeeper
- Russell Hoult, Notts County. Two clean sheets to move Notts further to safety, the Stoke loanee was in impeccable form over the two games and fully warrants his second successive involvement in the team of the weekend. Only Bury stopper Darren Randolph, Wycombe's Frank Fielding and Stockport's John Ruddy also achieved two clean sheets this weekend.

Right back
- Mike Williamson, Wycombe. Completed two sets of 90 minutes within three days despite appearing from the start on Saturday for the first time in over a year. Williamson was also given the armband, and his side kept two clean sheets with him a key man in their defensive resilience.

Centre back
- Michael Johnson, Notts County. Even though he played just the once that was enough as the returning hero hit the games only goal in a crucial Magpies win on Saturday before performing heroics to help keep a clean sheet at the other end. His form arguably gave Monday's back four the insipration needed for another clean sheet.

Centre back
- Efe Sodje, Bury. Two clean sheets for Bury in a fine weekend for Alan Knill's men who have moved away from relegation trouble with four more points. Sodje epitomised everything about the Shakers with a display full of courage and he was a rock on both occassions.

Left back
- Michael Rose, Stockport. His sides best defender over the two games as County's stock rose with two more clean sheets and a surge into the top three shouldn't be rules out. Rose has impressed this term, and he was faultless in both games.

Right wing
- Dany N'Guessan, Lincoln City. The Frenchman oozed class as the Imps defied the odds to beat high flying Hereford United despite being down to ten men with the scores at 0-0. N'Guessan ran the length of the pitch to stroke his first goal in, before netting the winner from the spot.

Centre midfield
- Jason Taylor, Stockport. Hit a stunning brace as the Hatters cruised past Macclesfield on Friday night and looked a real threat all game. Then played his part fully in a battling display to eek a point out of promotion rivals Wycombe on Monday.

Left wing
- Neil Ashton, Macclesfield. The best player on the pitch in the Silkmens crucial 3-0 win over Barnet. Ashton created one and scored another and teased his opponents all afternoon. A fine display on Easter Monday.

Striker
- Ricky Shakes, Brentford. Hit an excellent brace in each half of his sides 2-0 win over Wrexham on Saturday before playing a full part in the Bees' comeback against Grimsby on Monday. A fine weekend for the frontman.

Striker
- Chris Dagnall, Rochdale. Missed his sides defeat at Meadow Lane on Saturday and it is a good thing he did as he came off the bench to hit a stunning hat-trick as his side came from behind to defeat play-off rivals Rotherham on Monday. And he is only just back from injury.

Striker
- Adam Birchall, Barnet. There is no guessing how crucial his brace could become at the end of the season has it started the Bees' rout of Lincoln meaning they moved well clear of the drop zone. That could be crucial considering their inconsistency and the way his side flunked on Monday at Macclesfield. A great brace.
