Greenwood said “I am writing to you on behalf of the numerous constituents who have contacted me in relation to the current situation at Notts County Football Club, to request an urgent meeting with you.
“I met with representatives of some of the supporters’ groups yesterday (last Thursday) afternoon to listen to their concerns on the lack of clarity over what is actually happening at the club, the lack of communication on this from the club itself and the anxiety fans have over some of the potential new owners being discussed.
“I am writing to you on behalf of the numerous constituents who have contacted me in relation to the current situation at Notts County Football Club, to request an urgent meeting with you.
"Could we now meet up quickly to discuss the concerns fans have raised with me?"
