Kandol linked with Meadow Lane move

After another thumping Notts win, the Sunday papers have been rife with Notts rumours again this week. The Mail think that we're trying to coax Luis Figo and Pavel Nedved out of retirement and to Meadow Lane, along with Patrick Vieira. We did indeed laugh at the Sven rumour, but we're going to throw caution to the wind and say that this is probably rubbish.

Slightly more plausible is the People's rumour, which has linked the Magpies with a move for Leeds United striker Tresor Kandol. The former Barnet man is way down the pecking order at Elland Road and is likely to be moving away this summer. The Non-League Paper has also said that Notts had scouts watching Kettering Town yesterday, with their eye on defender Exodus Geoghagan.
