Jorgensen leaves Notts

The 23-year-old was expected to leave the club in the summer after making just a handful of appearances in his two years with County and recently went out on trial to second division rivals Colchester United without success.

Meanwhile, Magpies manager Billy Dearden has warned his resurgent side that the battle to avoid the drop is not yet completed.

County have edged away from the bottom four with a recent upturn in form but that could all be undone by a failure to perform at Cardiff on Saturday.

"We are still not safe yet and we have to get something from our final two matches to ensure that we are," he told the Nottingham Evening Post.

"We need to go to Cardiff on Saturday and get the points that will keep us in this division.

"We do not want to be going into the final game of the season still needing something to be certain of safety."
