The Southend central midfielder has joined for the same amount of time as McMahon, with the loan up after a month.
It is unclear whether it is with a view to a permanent move, as this is yet to be disclosd by the club.
Nevertheless, as he has been on trial at the club in previous weeks, it is clear his Southend days could be numbered.
