MK Dons have been active, claiming two new signings, both with higher level experience. Defender Paul Butler captained Leeds United earlier this season, but was allowed to leave on a free. The Dons have also swooped for goalkeeper Lee Harper from Northampton. The duo have been on loan at the National Hockey Stadium, but have now joined until the summer.

Former Nottingham Forest left-back Alan Rogers joined Accrington Stanley until the end of the season. The experienced man was released by Bradford City in October and goes straight into Jon Coleman's squad.

Flo... Back in Engish football
Nicky Rizzo has joined Grimsby Town on loan from the MK Dons.

West Brom have captured Robert Koren on a free transfer. The twenty-six year old leaves Lillestrom and can perform anywhere in midfield.

Derby have allowed Paul Thirlwell to join Carlisle.

Another former United teen star, Luke Chadwick, has signed permanently for Norwich City. He has left Stoke for £200, 000 after an initial loan period.

Collins John will join Watford tomorrow from Fulham, after finding first team opportunities limited.

Nathan Ellington should return to Wigan, after a poor spell at West Brom.

Wright-Phillips... Where will he go?

Cardiff are attempting to sign Luton striker Rowan Vine, though initial advances have been rejected.

Shaun Wright-Phillips will have his pick of clubs when he leaves Chelsea at some stage in this window. The England winger is a favourite of Manchester City, Newcastle and West Ham, with the Hammers currently leading the race.

Newcastle ace James Milner may join Aston Villa or Middlesbrough.

Bury midfield ace Dwayne Mattis is being chased by the MK Dons and Barnsley.
