Former Tottenham trainee Jackson is enjoying being back in the capital, and he told the South London Press: "In an ideal world Charlton is a great club and it's a place where I would like to play my football.
"Being a London boy, it's a great club for me to be at and I was delighted when the chance to come here arose.
"I've been given an opportunity and it's up to me to impress the people here and to show that I can be an asset.
"But I don't know whether Charlton will be in a position to do anything at the end of the 28 days, so for now all I can do is concentrate on playing."
