Now is the time to produce your finest form of the season.

The whole complexion of the campaign can be altered by your form towards
Ferguson... Finding consistency
the end of February and March.

Lincoln, Peterborough and Hereford are showing exactly what good form at this stage of the season can do for your season.

The Imps have seen theirs turned on its head by a flurry of wins.

Posh have just found consistency just in time to notch up a possible top three finish and just when everyone started to write off Hereford again they have burst back into form and find themselves in amongst a title race leading into March.

Notts need to do the same.

With four winnable game son the horizon, a good run seen by others around them could be the perfect remedy to banish fears of the dreaded drop from the Football League.

Game of the day: Rotherham United v Lincoln City

The league table certainly lies for this fixture.

Holmes... Scoreless in seven
Lincoln have won the last five games on trot to haul themselves back within a slim chance of making the play-offs.

The Imps are ten points adrigt of seventh placed Stockport County.

Rotherham on the other hand are on the slide without tasting victory in any of their last five outings.

With the threat of administration also looming over Millmoor, it is not a bright time to be a United fan.

Derek Holmes proved decisive in the sides last meeting at Sincil Bank.

The striker struck a hat-trick at a time when City were looking doomed to a relegation scrap.

Holmes has since failed to score in any of the Millers last seven in a down turn in the Yorkshire sides fortunes.

Mark Robins remains upbeat but must deep down know his side should be
Robins... Problems on and off pitch
hitting form if they wish to keep alive the dream of automatic promotion.

On the pitch there are problems but off it they are worse.

United could face a ten point deduction of they slip into further financial trouble - a consequence which could see them needed to scrabble around just for a play-off burst.

City have a 100 per cent record this month and a win here should wrap up the manager of the month award for Peter Jackson before he leaves the club for radiotherapy surgery after being diagnosed with throat cancer. A fitting send off it would be for the gut who has transformed the club in a matter of months.

Elsewhere...

Lee Richardson's Chesterfield have really been on the slide of late without a win in six and down to tenth in the League Two ladder.

The boo boys could be out for the Spirites as they entertain Brentford.

Jack Lester faces a late fitness test ahead of the game - his omission could be a bitter blow.

Mansfield will fancy their chances of esacping the drop zone this weekend as they entertain the free fall side, Chester.

Lambert... Launching a quiet play-off surge
The Stags could be missing striker Simon Brown while the Blues should welcome back Kevin Elison.

Bobby Williamson cannot stop the rot though with confidence rock bottom for this trip to Field Mill.

And finally, in a battle of the play-off contenders Wycombe travel to Spotland to take on Rochdale.

Lee Thorpe is unavailable for Dale and they will be forced to change between the sticks with loan signing Lloyd Rigby being recalled to parent club Vauxhall Motors.

The Chairboys should remain unchanged as Paul Lambert continues to go quietly about his promotion business.
