On the up: Nowland believes that Notts will propel themselves up the table.
Saturday's triumph over Play-Off hopefuls, Exeter City has sparked belief in the Notts County camp that this is the start of better things.

Speaking after the impressive 2-1 victory, Adam Nowland declared to BBC Radio Nottingham that he was confident that the team could begin to push up the table.

"We're confident this is a turning point. The management have been great with us and we owe them now," he explained.

"We've been working a lot on team spirit, keeping everybody together and this win is going to kick us on.

"We're a massive club and we've been underachieving. It is a difficult arena to play in some times but we need to make it a fortress."

County have picked up two wins in their last three matches, ending the dreadful run of form that had seen them slip as low as 17th in the table.

Recent seasons would suggest that it is another false dawn, but how do the fans believe that the team can progress from here?
