Ireland Set For Late Fitness Test

Ireland picked up a groin injury in last weekends win over QPR at Meadow Lane, and if he fails to return in time Notts may have to change formation with just 2 centre halfs fit if he does not make the game.

"Craig will undergo a fitness test tomorrow morning, we will take a careful look at him," Billy Dearden told the Evening Post.

"But it is touch and go at the moment. If he doesn't make it, it will be a significant blow."

Simon Ramsden is suspended for the game after picking up 5 bookings, while on the good side Danny Allsopp and Richard Liburd have been passed fit after picking up knocks last weekend.

Kevin Nicholson returns to the squad after injury, while Tony Hackworth could make the subs bench.
