The Magpies face five of their relegation rivals in the next seven matches.
Ince`s side host Oldham on Saturday and then travel to Dagenham, Yeovil, Tranmere and Swindon in the space of 15 days.
"The games against the teams around us will decide our fate," said Ince. "They will be fighting for their lives, so we will have to fight even harder.
"It's not going to be easy but we have got to pick up points in them, and I think we will.
"We are not safe because we're only just above the relegation zone and that is down to ourselves. We have put ourselves in a bit of trouble by not winning games we should have done but three wins will be enough to stay up."
