Notts County manager Paul Ince has labelled Liverpool as 'silly' for refusing to allow his son Thomas to return to Meadow Lane on loan unless the young winger signs a new deal at Anfield. The eighteen year-old has been in dazzling form in his short spell with the Magpies, scoring twice against Milton Keynes and Hartlepool.
However, Liverpool have refused him permission to extend his stay to the end of the season unless he extends his deal at Anfield, which runs out at the end of the season. His father has, however, stated that the contract offer made to him is 'derisory', so it looks unlikely that a solution will soon be reached.
