Notts County beat Grimsby Town 1-0 yesterday (Saturday) after Ruben Rodrigues scored in the last minute.
Grimsby Town hit the wood work in the first half with a strike from Lenell John-Lewis but it was Rodrigues’s goal that led to Grimsby’s first home defeat of the season.
Some critical decision making from Ian Burchnall changed the game with him brining on Callum Roberts and Aaron Nemane at the half way point and changing the back 3 to a back 4.
Up until this point Grimsby seemed to be causing Notts trouble at the back but Burchnall’s quick and decisive thinking secured a great win for the Magpies.
