- Notts draw 1-1 with Wycombe on the opening day of the season, and looked set for 3 points after Marcel Cas gave them the lead. But a late goal from Craig Faulconbridge levelled the scores.

9th November - A cracking local derby at Meadow Lane with Mansfield drawing first blood just before half time. However, Liburd and Caskey got Notts infront before a late, late goal from Christie cost Notts dear.

23rd November
- The Magpies were behind early on to Colchester before quickfire goals from Allsopp and Brough have Notts the advantage. However the U's hit back with a leveller and then a late winner from McGleish helped the Essex club leapfrog over Notts.

3rd December - Stallard gave Notts the lead at Bristol City early on before the home side levelled the scores before going ahead early in the 2nd half. Stallard got Notts level on 80 before Peacock hit the winner just minutes later.
