The Rugby Club are set to leave home ground Ireland Avenue for a long-awaited switch to Lady Bay in the summer, but the Green & White's new venue will not be available until November.

This will mean at least five games will be played at Meadow Lane, a move that is sure to be a great financial aid to the cash-strapped Magpies.

The two clubs' had previously spoken of the possibility of ground-sharing, before the Rugby Union outfit agreed the move to a new ground.

"Notts County Football Club is delighted to announce their assistance in providing Nottingham Rugby Club with a venue in which to play their home matches for the early part of next season," read a statement released on the Magpies' official website.

It is believed that the Rugby Club's presence at the stadium will not have a detrimental affect on the outstanding Meadow Lane playing surface.
